Seeking a diligent and hardworking Material Handler to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on the movement and organization of materials. You will be involved in receiving, storing, and distributing products, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, be adept at physical tasks, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying quantities and condition of goods.
- Sort, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all company procedures related to Logistics and warehouse operations.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including frequent Lifting (up to 55 lbs).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and warehouse principles.
- Commitment to Safety and following all Safety protocols.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
