Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical movement of materials, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that goods are handled correctly from receipt to dispatch. You will be expected to work efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, identify, and sort incoming materials and products.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy and preventing damage.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other manual equipment.
  • Organize and stock materials in designated locations, maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (if trained and certified).
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform regular lifting of materials, up to 50 pounds.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
  • Ability to perform manual labor and lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
  • Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
