Join our vibrant warehouse team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as a Warehouse Associate! This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in a variety of essential warehouse functions. From receiving and storing goods to picking, packing, and shipping orders, you'll play a critical part in our daily operations. We pride ourselves on efficiency and a strong commitment to safety. You'll contribute directly to the success of our logistics network, ensuring that products move smoothly and efficiently through our facility. This role offers a dynamic work environment and opportunities to learn various aspects of warehouse management.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Support other warehouse associates as needed to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with basic logistics procedures.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times for safety.
