We are hiring a motivated Material Handler to join our busy logistics facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods within the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy from arrival to dispatch. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading materials, transporting items to and from storage locations, and preparing goods for shipment. Experience with forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is highly desirable. We seek individuals who are physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to workplace safety. Following all safety procedures, including the diligent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a critical aspect of this job. This position involves significant physical work, including regular Lifting and movement throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse areas.
- Pick and stage materials for outbound shipments or production needs.
- Assist in inventory management and cycle counts.
- Ensure materials are handled and stored properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed by management to ensure smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse role preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting and physical activity.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
