We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse. This role is critical to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods. You will be involved in loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with order fulfillment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We emphasize the importance of adhering to all safety protocols and using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The ability to perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues promptly is also essential. - Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and unstack pallets and materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Moving inventory from receiving to storage, and from storage to shipping.
- Performing pre-operation inspections on forklifts and reporting any malfunctions.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Working collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
