About
Join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a Receiving Clerk and play a key role in managing the first step of our warehouse logistics. This position is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments. You will verify contents against purchase orders, identify discrepancies, and ensure goods are properly staged for inventory. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to Safety are essential. This role is fundamental to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of products into our facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments efficiently and safely.
- Verify contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any issues.
- Document all received items accurately in the inventory system.
- Stage incoming goods for put-away by other warehouse personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding deliveries.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of Safety procedures in a warehouse environment and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
