Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Inventory Control Specialist for our Omaha, Nebraska location. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring optimal stock levels to support our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate reorder needs to procurement.
  • Ensure proper organization and labeling of all inventory.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Participate in all relevant safety training.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards.
