Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Inspect all incoming goods for damage and verify against shipping documents.
- Accurately record received items into the warehouse management system.
- Organize and stage received products for efficient put-away.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Attend and participate in all required safety training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures and warehouse management systems.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Understanding of logistics operations within a warehouse environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all guidelines.
