About
We are seeking a meticulous and dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate for our facility in Provo, Utah. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate and timely flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping and receiving operations, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, preparing outgoing shipments, and coordinating with carriers. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Safety is a core value; you must strictly adhere to all safety procedures and consistently utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves a good deal of physical work, including frequent lifting, moving, and organizing of various materials. We are looking for individuals who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to support our logistics goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and condition of goods against documentation.
- Process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and arranging transportation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean and organized.
- Enforce all safety rules and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving regular lifting and moving of items.
- Communicate effectively with carriers and internal departments.
- Track shipments and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
