This leadership position is responsible for the overall management of warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, ensuring performance standards are met.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage staff schedules, assignments, and resource allocation.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations and experience implementing PPE protocols.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
