Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify quantities against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Document all received goods accurately using our inventory management system.
- Tag and label received items appropriately.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper rotation.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to management and relevant departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and logistics processes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
