About
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be expected to perform all job duties in a safe and timely manner, adhering to all company policies and OSHA regulations. Experience with various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, pallet jacks, and stand-up forklifts, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues immediately.
- Pick and stage orders accurately for shipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
