Job Summary:
We are recruiting a proactive Warehouse Coordinator for our facility in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is essential for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. The Warehouse Coordinator will manage inventory levels, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and supervise a team of warehouse associates. Your responsibilities will include optimizing workflow, implementing process improvements, and ensuring adherence to logistics best practices. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct warehouse staff, providing guidance and training.
  • Manage inventory control, including cycle counts and stock accuracy.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely processing.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Monitor and manage operational costs and productivity metrics.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with other departments and external partners.
  • Handle reporting and documentation related to warehouse operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and hazard prevention.
  • Ability to manage lifting requirements and physically demanding tasks as needed.
  • Proficient in reporting and data analysis.
