Join our Durham, North Carolina warehouse as a Warehouse Worker! This is a foundational role within our logistics operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our facility. You will be involved in various warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, and preparing orders for shipment. We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals who are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role requires physical exertion, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; adherence to all company safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This is an excellent entry-level position with opportunities to learn and grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for distribution.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization.
- Prepare outgoing shipments and load trucks.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts as directed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift. Good teamwork and communication skills. Reliable and punctual. Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to wear required PPE.
