Join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida, as a Material Handler! We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to assist in the movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution processes. You will handle a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, and distributing materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials in designated areas.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Assist in picking and preparing materials for shipment or further processing.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, ensuring easy access to materials.
- Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Support the overall logistics operations as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices for material handling.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment is a plus.
