We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, accurately scanning them, and carefully packaging them for shipment. Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a proactive approach to task completion are essential. Your daily tasks will involve using hand-held scanners, operating pallet jacks (with training provided), and ensuring all packages meet shipping requirements. This role plays a vital part in our supply chain operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Regular physical activity is expected, including significant lifting up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Utilize RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory and orders.
- Ensure all items are packed securely and correctly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
