About
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This includes receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your primary focus will be ensuring accuracy and maintaining the flow of inventory to support our operational needs. You will operate various material handling equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to perform physical tasks, including significant Lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage and accuracy.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety .
- Utilize PPE as required for all tasks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to following all safety guidelines.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
