Job Summary:
Join our efficient logistics team as a Receiving Clerk in Madison, Wisconsin. This critical role ensures that all incoming shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely. You will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, verifying contents against purchase orders and ensuring proper documentation. Responsibilities:
  • Unload incoming freight from trucks and containers.
  • Verify the contents of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Inspect received goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
  • Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
  • Stage received goods for further processing or put-away.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper PPE is used for all receiving tasks.
  • Be prepared for regular Lifting of packages, potentially up to 40 lbs.
  • Contribute to the smooth flow of logistics within the facility.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or a warehouse setting is preferred. Basic computer skills for data entry are essential. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and performing moderate Lifting. A strong commitment to Safety and following procedures is required. Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control. Must be reliable and punctual.
