Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stage incoming materials accurately.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Verify counts and inspect goods for damage, reporting any discrepancies.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to logistics and material handling.
- Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere strictly to PPE requirements for all tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting as required, up to 50 lbs.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is paramount. Demonstrates proficiency in operating various lifting devices. Understanding of supply chain and logistics operations. Must be reliable and punctual.
