Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies, and ensuring the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory variances, and working closely with other departments to ensure accurate stock levels. You will also be involved in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring all items are accurately logged into our system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and a proven track record in a similar role. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. Your commitment to accuracy and proactive problem-solving will be key to success in this position. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently. Attention to detail is paramount. Familiarity with **PPE** requirements and safe work practices is essential. The ability to perform tasks involving **Lifting** up to 50 lbs occasionally is also a requirement. This position plays a vital part in our **Logistics** chain, ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams on inventory needs.
  • Ensure compliance with **Safety** regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Train new team members on inventory control procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in WMS software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to **Lift** up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of **PPE** and warehouse **Safety** best practices.
  • Experience in **Logistics** environments.
