About
Our Las Vegas, Nevada distribution center is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our dynamic logistics team! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your efficient handling of materials ensures the smooth flow of goods throughout the warehouse, from receiving to shipping. This position requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be maneuvering in tight spaces, loading and unloading trailers, and assisting with inventory management. Safe operation of forklift equipment is paramount, and you must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one. While operating machinery, adherence to all safety procedures and the use of appropriate PPE , such as safety vests and steel-toed boots, is mandatory. This role may involve occasional lifting of smaller items. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and has a proven track record of safe forklift operation. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with incoming and outgoing goods.
- Transport products to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure proper operation and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and use all required PPE correctly.
- Follow all logistics procedures for material handling and storage.
- May involve occasional manual lifting and palletizing of goods.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel to meet operational demands.
