Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is fundamental to our logistics operations. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory data is precise and up-to-date. This includes managing stock locations, monitoring stock levels, and identifying potential issues that could impact operations. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to Safety are essential. You will play a key role in optimizing warehouse efficiency and minimizing stock errors. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
  • Optimize storage locations for efficient material handling.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to Safety regulations, including PPE usage.
  • While not primarily a Lifting role, occasional moderate Lifting may be required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with PPE requirements.
