About
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage our dynamic warehouse operations in Las Vegas, Nevada. This pivotal role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the efficient and safe flow of goods within our Logistics network. You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing inventory, coordinating staff, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and Safety. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems, a proven ability to optimize workflows, and a commitment to upholding rigorous Safety standards, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for this challenging and rewarding position.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping.
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse associates.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular audits.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments, including transportation and customer service.
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules.
- Train and onboard new warehouse staff on procedures and Safety protocols.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Handle tasks that involve significant Lifting and material handling, ensuring proper techniques are used.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Logistics department.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and Logistics best practices.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and the ability to enforce them.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to manage tasks involving heavy Lifting and physical demands.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to using and promoting the use of PPE.
