Join our expanding distribution center team in Dallas, Texas, as a Distribution Center Associate! This versatile role involves a range of tasks critical to our Logistics operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We are looking for motivated individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of accuracy and Safety. You will be essential in ensuring that our products move smoothly through the distribution process. A commitment to teamwork, following instructions precisely, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting, are necessary. Strict adherence to all Safety regulations and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a leading logistics company.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated locations.
- Pick customer orders with precision.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for transportation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Be prepared for tasks involving frequent Lifting of products up to 60 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting and physical stamina.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of Safety procedures and willingness to use PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Basic math skills.
