You will be instrumental in coordinating shipping and receiving activities, managing stock levels, and supporting warehouse staff to meet operational goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and a solid understanding of warehouse best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage inventory control processes and conduct regular stock audits.
- Supervise and motivate warehouse team members to achieve performance targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of safety, including the correct use of PPE.
- Implement process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Liaise with suppliers and carriers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Contribute to the overall success of the company's logistics and supply chain efforts.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse coordination or a similar supervisory role. Demonstrated experience in inventory management and logistics operations. Strong leadership and team-building capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 40 pounds. Must be proficient with warehouse management software. A strong emphasis on workplace safety and hazard awareness is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.
