About
We are looking for dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associates to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a foundational role within our logistics operations, contributing to the smooth and efficient handling of goods. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring that our warehouse functions effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve daily operational goals within the logistics framework.
- Must be able to perform tasks requiring regular lifting and moving of materials.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and perform repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
