Job Summary:
We are hiring an organized and diligent Inventory Clerk for our Baltimore, Maryland warehouse. This role is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock management. You will be responsible for tasks such as data entry, cycle counting, receiving, and tracking inventory movements within our logistics system. Your precision and attention to detail will directly contribute to the efficiency of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Record and update inventory data into the inventory management system.
  • Assist with the receiving of goods, verifying quantities and checking for damages.
  • Tag and label inventory items for tracking and identification.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or low stock situations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient retrieval.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Support the logistics team by providing accurate inventory information and assisting with order fulfillment preparations.
  • Process inventory adjustments and transfers as required.
  • Participate in periodic inventory audits.
  • Occasional lifting of inventory items may be required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry and experience with inventory management software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that involve occasional lifting and moving of materials.
  • Familiarity with logistics operations is beneficial.
