Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including machinery, forklifts, and conveyor systems. Ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition is paramount to our logistics operations and overall productivity.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Ensure all maintenance is documented accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with the warehouse management team to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop area.
  • Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in warehouse technology and maintenance techniques.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve significant lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in logistics is a plus.
