We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Chicago, Illinois. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Accurately stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and care, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging pallets for carrier pickup.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and loss prevention.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
