Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio? We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our dedicated logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials, load and unload trucks, and stack and retrieve inventory within our warehouse. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to all company safety protocols. Proper operation of machinery, awareness of surroundings, and strict compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements are essential. This position requires precision, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to maintaining operational flow. You will be a key player in our warehouse operations, contributing to the timely and accurate handling of products. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and trailers.
- Move, stack, and retrieve inventory from designated warehouse locations.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
- Follow traffic patterns and safety guidelines within the warehouse.
- Report any accidents or near misses immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA compliant).
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) when necessary.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
