We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associate to contribute to the smooth flow of our logistics operations. This role is crucial for maintaining efficiency and accuracy in receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. As a DC Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including order picking, packing, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy. We are committed to providing a safe and productive work environment, so adherence to safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is non-negotiable. Your adaptability and willingness to learn new processes will be highly valued. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting, and a commitment to teamwork. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to meet daily operational goals and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be provided).
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
