About
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will perform a variety of essential warehouse duties that support our efficient logistics operations. Tasks include receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a safe and orderly workplace. This position requires physical stamina, including frequent lifting , standing, and walking throughout the shift. Your contribution is vital to ensuring our inventory is managed effectively and our customers receive their orders promptly. We provide all required PPE and maintain a strong focus on workplace safety .
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items accurately for customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently to ensure product safety during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of mandatory PPE .
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Support overall team efforts to meet daily operational goals within our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform regular lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a physically demanding role.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
