Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in San Jose, California. This role is critical for ensuring the operational integrity and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and systems. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting with the installation of new equipment. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a dedication to workplace safety . You will play a key role in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. This position involves regular interaction with various pieces of machinery and requires strict adherence to all safety protocols. The necessary PPE will be provided. The role may involve some lifting and requires the ability to work effectively in a technical environment. A strong understanding of industrial logistics equipment is a must.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on warehouse machinery (e.g., conveyor belts, forklifts, automated systems).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Respond to equipment malfunctions and perform emergency repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and setup of new warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used.
  • Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades or improvements.
  • Collaborate with operations staff to minimize disruption during maintenance.
  • Operate equipment safely and adhere to operational procedures.
  • Participate in training to stay current with new technologies and repair techniques.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Must be able to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity and occasional lifting .
  • Commitment to adhering to PPE requirements.
  • Understanding of logistics operations and warehouse equipment.
