Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure materials are stored correctly and securely.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate material handling equipment in accordance with training and safety guidelines.
- Report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including significant lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
