Join our high-volume distribution center in San Jose, California, as a Receiving Clerk. This role is critical to the accurate intake of all inbound inventory, forming the foundation of our successful logistics operations. You will be responsible for the unloading of trucks, meticulous inspection of incoming goods, and accurate verification against purchase orders and packing slips. Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential for documenting receipts and identifying any discrepancies. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment. A commitment to safety is non-negotiable; you must strictly adhere to all safety protocols and utilize the provided personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires physical stamina, including frequent lifting and moving of heavy items. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming freight efficiently and accurately.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Record all received items into the warehouse management system (WMS) using RF scanners.
- Identify, document, and report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Stage goods appropriately for put-away or further warehouse processing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly receiving area.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and wear designated PPE.
- Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to resolve issues.
