Become a foundational member of our warehouse operations in Durham, North Carolina, as a Warehouse Worker! We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to contribute to our daily logistics activities. This role involves a variety of essential tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. You will play a key part in ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. Success in this position requires physical stamina for tasks involving frequent Lifting and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. We provide comprehensive training, emphasizing safety procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). If you are a team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and are eager to gain experience in the warehouse and logistics industry, this is an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Sort and stock items in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders for safe and efficient shipment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks involving consistent Lifting.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and using PPE.
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members.
- Punctual and reliable.
