About
We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our Orlando, Florida distribution center. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse logistics. You will be responsible for coordinating the flow of goods, managing staff, and ensuring all processes adhere to safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff and delegate tasks effectively.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and cycle counts.
- Monitor operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a high standard of workplace Safety, ensuring all team members use PPE correctly.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet logistical demands.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure a well-organized facility.
- Address any operational issues or discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and Logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Commitment to implementing and enforcing Safety protocols.
- Proficiency in inventory control and operational planning.
- Must be adaptable and able to work under pressure.
