Are you detail-oriented and organized? We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Minneapolis, Minnesota facility. This crucial role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is vital for our overall logistics and supply chain efficiency. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting audits, and implementing procedures to minimize discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory turnover.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow.
- Uphold Safety standards and ensure proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a logistics environment.
- Proficiency with WMS software and strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain best practices.
- Knowledge of Safety protocols is essential.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
