Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in Indianapolis, Indiana! We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders in our state-of-the-art fulfillment center. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will utilize scanning technology and follow specific order instructions to locate items, verify quantities, and prepare them for shipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of every order, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. We foster a team environment where collaboration and efficiency are key. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Verify picked items against order requirements.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for outbound logistics.
- Conduct quality checks to minimize errors and ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety guidelines.
- Meet established productivity and quality targets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth order processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper PPE usage.
