Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and unload incoming shipments.
- Accurately put away stock into appropriate warehouse locations.
- Efficiently pick orders using scanning equipment or pick lists.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage orders for outgoing shipments and verify accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following all safety guidelines.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including significant lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
