Responsibilities:
- Unload and receive incoming shipments.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Stack and arrange materials in a safe and orderly manner.
- Inspect equipment for defects and report issues.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and tracking.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 lbs).
- Certification or willingness to obtain certification for forklift operation.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
