As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating specific items from our warehouse inventory and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve ordered items from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify product details (SKU, quantity) against order forms or scanner data.
- Package items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within your picking and packing station.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Strictly follow all company safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting guidelines.
- Operate basic material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick sheets and product labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capacity for regular lifting (up to 40 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently.
- Awareness of warehouse safety standards.
