Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring workflow.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse team members.
- Implement and enforce all safety protocols, ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe operating procedures.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Handle escalated issues and resolve operational problems promptly.
- Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of Safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and employee well-being.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
