Job Summary:
Join our large Distribution Center team in Houston, Texas, as a Distribution Center Associate. This role is integral to our **logistics** network, supporting the efficient flow of goods from receipt to dispatch. You will perform various tasks including picking, packing, sorting, loading, and unloading. A strong adherence to **safety** protocols and the mandatory use of **PPE** are critical for success in this position. Responsibilities:
  • Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and speed.
  • Sort and stage merchandise for outbound shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Receive and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area within the distribution center.
  • Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment as trained.
  • Comply with all **safety** regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize and ensure proper wear of **PPE**.
  • Support daily **logistics** goals and team objectives.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred. Ability to **lift** up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Understanding of warehouse **safety** standards and **PPE** requirements. Familiarity with **logistics** operations is beneficial. Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the shift. Team player with good communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where physical demands and **safety** are key. This role requires efficiency and a commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
