Our Nashville, Tennessee distribution center seeks a reliable Material Handler. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement and organization of goods throughout the warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and transporting materials using various equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to proper handling techniques are paramount. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent Lifting and to work in a dynamic environment. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Stack, store, and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety procedures and use of PPE.
- Assist with preparing shipments and loading trucks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and organization of the logistics operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
