Join our team in Detroit, Michigan, as a skilled Forklift Operator! This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials within our busy warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety and adherence to all operating procedures. This position requires proficiency in forklift operation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment that may involve considerable Lifting. You will be part of our logistics team, contributing to the smooth running of our distribution operations. We are seeking certified forklift operators who are reliable, safety-conscious, and possess a strong work ethic. You must be able to maintain equipment logs and perform daily safety checks. Compliance with all company Safety guidelines and the proper use of required PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Stack and stage products for shipment or storage.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall logistics.
- Identify and report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.
- Follow all company policies and operational procedures.
