Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. This includes everything from conveyor systems and automated machinery to material handling equipment and general facility upkeep. Your expertise will ensure that our logistics operations run smoothly and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot technical issues, and execute necessary repairs. A strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is essential. Safety is paramount in our operations, and you will play a key role in maintaining a secure work environment by ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly and safely. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to preventative maintenance. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on all warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sortation systems, and forklifts.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on warehouse machinery.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and facilities.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and service calls.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with material handling equipment maintenance.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to a strong safety culture and adherence to all safety protocols, including wearing required PPE.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
