About
San Francisco, California, needs proficient Material Handlers to support our busy logistics operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include receiving, storing, and distributing various goods and products. This role requires physical strength, precision, and a strong understanding of warehouse Safety best practices, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of performing tasks that involve significant Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Store and organize inventory according to established procedures.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and protocols.
- Wear and utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Certified to operate forklifts or other relevant machinery is a strong plus.
- Good understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a demanding environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to Safety and following all company guidelines.
