Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Maintain precise inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor stock levels and report any potential shortages or excesses to management.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures to minimize loss and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
- Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including the appropriate use of PPE.
- Assist in the receiving and put-away process to ensure timely and accurate inventory capture.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports for management review.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in WMS software and inventory management techniques. Ability to perform detailed data entry and analysis. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform warehouse tasks. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in logistics or a related field is advantageous.
