Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee our operations in Phoenix, Arizona. This key role involves coordinating daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient workflow, and managing inventory. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, optimizing space utilization, and implementing operational improvements. A strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse best practices is essential. You will work closely with management to meet operational goals and ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Maintaining a safe working environment is a top priority; therefore, you will enforce all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE by all personnel. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to operational excellence in a fast-paced logistics setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage and train warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
  • Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use and enforcement of PPE.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
  • Process necessary documentation related to warehouse activities.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in warehouse supervision or coordination. Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain, and inventory management principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and motivate a team. Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS). Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, including the importance of PPE. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred. Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment is required.
